Prior to taking up International Management at ESADE, Caela studied Psychology at Ateneo de Manila University, and then Medicine at the University of Sto. Thomas. She filed her leave of absence from med school because of the compelling belief that the best way for her to positively change the world, lay outside of it. She has taught catechism, visited various orphanages, participated in typhoon relief efforts in the Philippines and Spain, as well as interned at Teach for the Philippines. Business School provided her with the perfect way to combine strong social initiatives with social entrepreneurship to impact the status quo.
